Having an RV will indubitably take you to places you’ve always wanted to go, and those places won’t all have level ground.

RV leveling jacks are essential for your comfort and to ensure that the appliances in your RV, particularly the refrigerator, are level and operating correctly. Many RV owners place wooden planks under the tires to provide level ground, but leveling equipment is more dependable and a lot safer.

We want you to have an exhilarating, memorable, and safe experience each time you take your RV out for a spin, and we’re confident that an RV leveling jack can help you do just that. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best RV leveling jacks currently on the market.

Libra – Stabilizer Leveling Scissor Jacks

Stabilizing your RV is essential for comfort and safety. This set of four leveling scissor jacks will do just that. Even on soft ground, the wide bow-tie base allows your RV to remain stable. Each jack can handle up to 5,000 pounds and have passed standard industrial testing to ensure their safety and reliability.

A set includes four 5,000-pound, 24-inch leveling scissor jacks, a crank handle, and a 3/4” hex magnetic socket for raising and lowering your RV via power drill socket. Sixteen 3/8” mounting screws are also included. Each jack has a 5,000-pound weight limit and can either be bolted or welded onto your RV. When fully extended, the jacks have a maximum height of 24.” Upon retraction, the leveling scissor jacks are five inches tall, 26 inches long, and seven-and-a-half inches in width. These jacks can also be used on your pop up camper or travel trailer.

Libra has a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. You can return any new, unused, and uninstalled item within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Contact the company, and they will give you a return authorization number and instructions on how to return your package.

Keep in mind that these scissor jacks should only be used for leveling your RV. They are not made for lifting, changing tires, or supporting the weight of any vehicles. Using them for anything other than their intended purpose could cause property damage, serious injury, or death.

48830 24” Leveling Scissor Jack by Eaz-Lift

Manufactured by Camco, a well-known and trusted brand in the world of RVing, this leveling scissor jack can stabilize and level your RV even on soft terrain. The black powder coated finish provides maximum protection against rust and other forms of corrosion.

A pack includes two leveling scissor jacks and a scissor jack socket for power drills. Each leveling jack has a 7,500-pound maximum weight capacity. When fully extended, the jacks have a maximum height of 24 inches; they measure 4-3/8 inches when fully collapsed.

For increased versatility, the jacks come with a speed crank handle to easily and quickly raise or lower your camper. It also has a socket on the end of the speed crank handle for use with power drills. The jack can be welded onto the bottom of your RV, or it can be bolted on with the included hardware. It is suitable for an RV, pop up camper, or travel trailer.

In addition to the double pack, Amazon also offers a single jack of the same kind. You can also opt for a 24” jack with a 5,000-pound capacity, a 20” jack with a 5,000-pound maximum capacity, or a 30” jack with a 5,000-pound capacity. This product is intended for the sole purpose of leveling your RV and should not be used as a car jack as it cannot sustain the weight of holding up a vehicle. Failure to use the product as directed could lead to death.

Cynder – Leveling Scissor Jack

Powder coated for maximum rust protection, this leveling scissor jack has a maximum weight capacity of 5,000 pounds. While this pack includes a single leveling scissor jack, you also have the option of purchasing a set of two at a significant discount.

Like the Libra model, this jack can either be bolted or welded onto the bottom of your RV. While designed for RVs, it can just as easily accommodate a pop up camper, travel trailer, or camper motorhome.

However, unlike the Libra, this leveling jack does not include any hardware; it must be purchased separately.

Fully extended, the jack has a maximum height of 24 inches; the lowest that it can be extended is eight inches.

Since it does not come with a crank handle or hardware, you will need the following tools and materials on hand when installing Cynder’s leveling scissor jack: C-clamps, 50’ string, an electric drill, an arc welder (if you’ll be welding the unit onto your RV), appropriate screws and bolts (if you’re not welding), a ratchet with extension, and lithium grease.

You’ll also need a 1/8” drill bit and an 11/32” drill bit.

We suggest welding on the unit instead of bolting it on. That’s because sometimes the holes on the leveling scissor jack don’t precisely match up with the holes on the bottom of your RV, and you’ll have to do some drilling. Plus, welding ensures a more secure hold.

Cynder also offers the same model with a 30” maximum extension.

Camco – Olympian Aluminum Stack Jacks

Stabilize and level your RV with these jacks by Camco. They are lightweight, compact, and easy to use. The cranking handle is permanent, so it can’t get lost. You can also stack them if you wish to raise the height of your RV significantly.

Since these jacks are stackable, we don’t recommend welding them down. Instead, use the included hex nuts and bolts to bolt down the jacks.

This set of Olympian Aluminum Stack Jacks come in a two or four pack. Each jack has a maximum weight capacity of 6,000 pounds and can be adjusted between 11 inches to 17 inches. Each jack weighs a slight 3.5 pounds.

Pro-Lift – T-9456 Grey Scissor Jack

If your RV is on the smaller side, this scissor jack by Pro Lift might be exactly what you need to level your RV. It has a maximum weight capacity of 3,000 pounds and has a lifting range of 3¾ inches to 15-1/8 inches.

It is lightweight and compact, making it easy to position and tote around. The built-in extra wide base provides stability, even on soft ground. Similar to the other models, you can either weld the scissor jack to the bottom of your RV or you can bolt them down.

This leveling scissor jack meets or exceeds the latest standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute and the Portable Automotive Lifting Devices.
